- Lost fillings or crowns.
- A dental injury.
- Swelling around a tooth or the gums.
- Sudden dental discomfort.
Seek emergency medical care immediately for facial swelling with difficulty breathing or swallowing, uncontrolled bleeding, or a serious facial injury. Do not wait for a dental appointment. This website cannot decide that a symptom is safe to wait.
